I joined Rice Craig in 1994 and practice predominantly in commercial law, helping businesses and businesspeople, whether that is contracting for services, joint ventures, acquiring or selling businesses, acquiring property and leasing.  I have significant experience with shareholder agreements and shareholder arrangements.  I have also developed an interest in mediation as a mechanism for resolving disputes, having completed the Harvard Mediation Intensive and AMINZ Mediation Intensive.  I have advised clients as counsel in mediation as well as acting as mediator to assist parties to move beyond their dispute.  I equally enjoy helping my clients with their personal requirements including estate planning and property transactions. I’m very proud of the quality of people at Rice Craig and enjoy their company immensely. Outside of work I keep fit with kayaking, touch rugby, training, coaching – and running around after my four children.
